From the title of this post, you can probably tell I don’t have children. However, if I did, I may still think babies need flowcharts. This whole idea came about after my husband and I gave my sister and brother-in-law a “night out” as a Christmas present by offering to babysit our niece for the night. After we finally found a good time for them to enjoy their date night, the reality of taking care of a small infant that isn’t mine sank in. This should not have been the case; I baby-sat a lot as a young teenager, and even had to deal with tiny baby spawn around 6 months old. I guess that was a while ago.
A couple of weeks before their date night, I requested a flow chart. This flow chart would help my engineering brain check on her in the right order, to ensure her maximum comfortability requirements. This amazing chart is what they came up with. They. Are. Awesome.
You better believe we used it. And it worked. + 25 intelligence.
